Graduated UW with BSAAE degree!
Rockets
When I began attending the University of Washington in my Junior year, I joined a high-power rocket team to pursue
my interest in working hand-on with rocket hardware. I had always wanted to play with model rockets growing
up, but didn't have the support or resources to do so.
2013
For the 2013 DBL (Design Build Launch) solid rocket team,
I was the team leader for the Recovery group, coordinating the design,
manufacture, and assembly of all aspects of recovery such as
parachutes, pyrotechnics, and avionics.
2014
For the 2014 SARP (Society for Advanced Rocket Propulsion) hybrid
rocket team, I was a member of the propulsion group. Some of the
tasks I worked on included casting fuel grains, setting up LabView to
collect data, setting up the motor prior to static tests, and cleaning
up after tests.
